We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for Property Management, helping others and providing high quality affordable housing to our residents. The role of Property Management Coordinator will ideally be based around Charlotte or Raleigh, NC and have the opportunity to travel. The exciting challenge of this position is that you will be supporting our properties with leasing and marketing needs and also working very closely with the Regional Vice President.  The role requires a unique blend of administrative abilities and an understanding of affordable housing programs.

Travel between properties in the North Carolina region will be required based on needs of the properties

  • Previous experience with leasing, marketing or managing apartment communities is preferred

What role will you play as Property Management Coordinator?

  • Review Occupancy status for all properties in the region; follow up with Property Managers on their leasing efforts; assist with implementation of marketing campaigns in order to maintain occupancy as budgeted levels.
  • Participate in the Occupancy & Collections Watch List calls. Take notes and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Review Contractor bid packages and purchase authorizations; Facilitate necessary approvals
  • Monitor uncollected rent (deb debt)
  • Prepare Replacement Reserve packages for properties in the region
  • Collect and review monthly variance reports submitted by the Property Managers
  • Participate in the REAC prep conference calls; take notes and ensure proper follow up on outstanding items
  • Assist Regional Vice President with preparation of Rent Increase Packages
  • Prepare documentation package for agencies prior to MOR inspections.
