Housing Management Resources (HMR) is a "Boston Globe Top Places to Work" Property Management company focused on the management of affordable housing communities. We are actively seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist to join our team in our exciting and ever growing Boston Portfolio. Experience in recertifications and compliance of affordable housing programs is essential to be successful in this role. You will provide key compliance support in accordance with all HMR policies and procedures. The Compliance Specialist will also have hands on involvement with leasing and resident services. 


The Compliance Specialist will travel between three properties located in the Boston/Quincy area to assist and serve the needs of each individual property.

  • Parker Hill (90 units)-- Boston, MA

  • Mt. Pleasant (98 units)-- Roxbury, MA

  • Wollaston Manor (164 units)-- Quincy, MA


Key Qualities we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs such as Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) or HUD

  • Prior compliance and recertification experience

  • Prior leasing experience is highly preferred

  • Being open minded and resourceful

  • Highly approachable personality with superior customer service skills and the willingness to go above and beyond when working with residents

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail
